Martyr’s day was celebrated on January 30. The guest of the day was Sri. P Ramachandran Nair, Chairman, Kerala Gandhi  Smaraka Nidhi. An exhibition on Life and Works of Mahatma Gandhi was inaugurated by the chief guest.

National Youth day was observed on January 12. The guest of the day was Swami Abayananada from Chinmaya Mission, Thiruvananthapuram.
