It is a matter of pride and honour to launch this new and improved school website.
This academic session of 2017-18 brings in the change of curriculum and evaluation pattern prescribed by the C.B.S.E. The erstwhile formative assessments and summative assessments have been replaced by periodic tests and a final examination. The syllabus for these tests would be cumulative with each approaching tests, with the final examination that would include the syllabus of the whole session.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has always believed in imbibing in its students value based education synergised with modern teaching learning methods to produce a generation of well informed and emotionally sound generation. I’m sure that in times to come we will continue this journey with elevated enthusiasm and persistently provide a platform of holistic learning to the young generation of learners.
The curriculum emphasises the acquisition of knowledge, useful skills , critical thinking and problem solving abilities . We believe that every student is unique and special and that they all have the ability to learn . It is our responsibility as educators to develop and nurture every student to reach maximum potential . Students are continually encouraged to appreciate our diverse community and to care for others by becoming global citizens and develop a concern and active response for the environment.
Each passing year is a learning experience; it is an endless journey which opens up new vistas of development, where there is neither scope nor room for pettiness, disharmony, jealousy, hatred enmity or complacency. Hence, we must all rise above the rhetoric and endeavour to make the world a better place.
