1. Inaugural Function
The function was started at 12.30 PM with prayer by club members. The welcome speech was delivered by Mrs. Umamaheswari, Principal, B V B Sr. Sec. School, Kodunganoor. The activities of the club was inaugurated by our chief guest Mr. Vinayakumaran Nair ( Assistant Commandant , Head of Hi-Tech Crime Cell, Kerala Police) by lighting the lamp. The function came to an by presenting a memento to the chief guest and vote of thanks by Master Reman Krishna.
2. Innovative Class
An innovative class on IT had been taken by Mr. Vinayakumaran Nair (Assistant Commandant, Head of Hi-Tech Crime Cell, and Kerala Police) after the inaugural function. He covered all the aspects of IT( Information Technology).
Some of the topics are uses of IT, social Networks, Internet Ethics, Internet addiction and its Psychological Symptoms, how to avoid misuse of Internet, the cyber laws and acts and punishments for cyber crime.
The class was highly motivating and informative. IT Club members as well as IT students got a thorough knowledge on the cyber crimes and the laws so that they can be careful to use internet.
